From the East to the West
California is known for their famous tourist attractions like Disneyland, the wall of fame, and the Hollywood sign. I was fortunate enough to be able to visit the Los Angeles area for my first time a few weeks ago. Deciding on what to do proved to be a lot harder than you would expect in a city with so much recognition around the world. The problem wasn’t that there was nothing to do. The problem was that there was too much to do! I only had 3 days and I knew I had to make the most of it. I didn’t plan on sleeping much either so I could maximize my time. I ended up deciding to go to Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Warner Bros for one day each. I even splurged and did the VIP and deluxe tours of Universal and Warner Bros. You know what they say, go big or go home!
Los Angeles is an amazing and beautiful place, especially to someone from Philadelphia. I must say, one of my favorite parts of the entire trip was the buffet lunch at Universal. If you ever plan on visiting Universal Studios, take the VIP tour. I give it an A++! Although I had the best weekend of my life, I felt like the stereotypical tourist. That is fine of course because I have never been to any of these places before, but sometimes you want to live like a local when you visit a new place and do things not everyone gets to do. I will definitely be using Citiskopes the next time I go anywhere so I can make my trip truly unique with some must see hidden gems.
